What a great product. This machine makes a great margarita every time. Ordered it for a 4th of July party and it arrived in just 3 days, plenty of time to practice; but it's so easy to operate, you don't need much practice. Also used it for some frozen rum drinks. (you just need to shave a little extra ice). Worked like a dream all night long. Have used it several times since for all kinds of frozen drinks (both with and without alcohol). The only problem is the physical size. It is a little big to leave out on the counter all the time, and so save the box to pack it back up once you're done. I admit I thought twice about spending that kind of money on a drink machine but once I had a margarita I was convinced it was well worth it. In fact, by the end of the night I was not longer on bartender duty as it is easy enough for anyone to operate and still get a perfect drink everytime. If you love margaritas do yourself a favor and pick one of these up.Customer Review: A bit pricey - but worth it

I thought what every one else thinks when the see the price of this thing-- WOW! But I can honestly say it pays itself off in the long run. The combination of the ice shaver and the blender made me say 'why didn't they think of this sooner.' I can now see why i went burning thru all those blenders. I just received one of these as a gift from my sister. I was wondering about the quality at first . . . what would it be like, would it work well, etc . . . It was a complete surprise gift so I hadn't done any research. I can tell you from using it that it is REALLY cool! My wife and I set it up for 2 drinks and from the moment I flipped the start switch to pulling the pitcher off of the base to pour drinks only took 30 seconds. That ice shaver really makes all the difference in the world. Making margaritas with a normal blender is a pain even if you have a good one because it takes quite a bit of time to get all of the ice blended and even then there are still chunks that get in the way. With the ice shaver the consistency of these drinks are great!! There were some very, very small chucks but nothing that would hinder a normal drinking straw. We have some insulated glasses that we served them in and the consistency of the drink stayed constant for quite a while. I decided to take a look here on Amazon to read some of the reviews and see if there if there were going to be any problems that I needed to watch for and was very pleasantly surprised to see all the positive feedback. Enough so that I decided to leave my own (which is rare for me)
This is a great buy! It works extremely well and makes great drinks!

This blender is awesome. The ice shaver is fantastic. No more ice lumps in your frozen concoction that you get with regular blenders.It has many speeds as well as just a blender when all you want is a rocks marg. It is a conversation piece as well when it is sitting on your counter.There are some great food and drink recipes that come with the blender that I plan on trying as well. I plan to get the carrying case as well so that I can take it to parties and on house boat vacations. You will be a hit at your next margaritaville party.Customer Review: A must for any party

This machine is great. If you follow the recipes in the book the margaritas come out with a wonderful consistency. You just put the correct amount of mix into the lower blender, set the dial for the number of drinks (1-3), and "Set it and forget it". It works for daiquiris as well. It is well made.
Pros: Perfect margaritas. Easy to use. Has ability to adjust the amount of ice and reblend. Great centerpiece for any party.
Cons: It's big, heavy and loud but who cares after a few drinks!
