It makes great slushy drinks, the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was the price.
The liquid container part of the mixer is a little tricky to get out the first couple of times you use it until you get used to it. Don't twist it too hard or the liquid leaks from the bottom of the mixer.

I bought this for my brothers birthday. His wife was throwing a Margaritaville surprise party so it was a must. He is in love with it and can't stop talking about it. Since I haven't actually seen it, he's in Wisconsin and I'm in Louisiana, I can only sing his praises of this machine.Customer Review: It's 5 o'clock everywhere

This machine is awesome and not only makes great margaritas, pina coladas, and frozen daquiris but it also makes great non-alcoholic smoothies. It is a wonderful party-pleaser and is easy to clean and operate. Amazon has the best price on this. All I can say is I LOVE THIS MACHINE! I have owned more than my fair share of blenders looking for smooth frozen drinks...and I have found it. I use the "shave" only option first to make the kids their snowcones/snowballs, then made what ever else I want for the adults. You can make your drinks as thick or thin as you want by adding more/less shaved ice. I use mine twice a day....yogurt and fruit smoothies in the morning and daqueries/margaritas at night. This model is a no frills model, but fits on the counter top for daily use and also cleans up pretty quick and easy.
