After reading the reviews I was confident that I would like this product. After recieving the item I read the manual and set the machine up so I could make my first batch of margaritas. I was a bit concerned because I had read some reviews about the ice not coming out smooth. I let the ice sit for 15min, as per the instructions, and started the machine. I poured the drink out and not one clump, very happy! The only down side to the whole thing is that it only came with one margarita recipe, that was average at best. If you have a good way of making margaritas the product is perfect. Don't waist you time buying the more expensive models especially if you only make drinks once in a while, you're paying extra for more buttons that practically do the same thing.Customer Review: Great product

After reading all the Amazon reviews for margarita makers, I finally selected this one to purchase. The machine works like a charm, easy to use, easy to clean and fits (just) under my kitchen cabinets. It crushes the ice perfectly. I'm a activity coordinator at a nursing home in Va, we purchased this product to make smoothies for our Beach party. This is a great product to have i just wish we had found it earlyer than we did. We purchased the Margaritaville DM0500 Bahamas Frozen Concoction Maker to use at our summer party which had a Mexican theme. It was a big hit! The maker is easy to assemble and simple to use. It comes apart easily and cleans up nicely also. It makes perfect frozen margaritas every time! Our friends loved them! We also used it to make wine slushies and they turned out beautifully as well. The best tip is to let the ice sit for 10 to 15 minutes out of the freezer before you use it. It will be the perfect consistancy. The recipe that came with the maker was very tastey. We had shopped around and were very happy to find the maker on Amazon at a terrific price compared to every retailer we checked. We highly recommend it!Customer Review: How to make a bridegroom happy

I actually bought this as a gift for a young couple and they have raved about it. They had been using a loaner and were so happy to have their own that I got treated to a "concoction". I'm now considering purchasing one for myself. If you like frozen goodies or know someone who does, do them a favor and get 'em a machine.
