Customer Review: Great for handcrafters

There are a lot of reviews here from computer users, but I wanted to put in a shout-out from a handcrafter. I know we've all had that between the shoulderblades pain after hunching over our work for too long, and I'm here to tell you that the Body Rite will make that go away.
I do a lot of handcrafting, especially knitting, crochet, spinning, and sewing, and a day devoted to my hobbies used to leave me with a terrible pain between my shoulderblades that left me laying on the floor and praying for the asprin to kick in. The Body Rite, which I first had recommended to me years ago by a professional seamstress, has put an end to those days. I can feel it correcting my posture, and while it did leave my back a bit sore at first (I wasn't used to standing up straight!) I noticed the difference right away when I put it on and used it while I was spinning. Before, I couldn't go for more than a half hour or so without having to stop, so I was surprised as the time ticked by, and I kept spinning, and I felt fine. I can -really- tell the difference if I forget to use it.
I did knock off one star because the straps are way too thick. I'd like to be able to wear it around all day, but after a while, the thick straps get to irritating the skin under my arms, even through a shirt.

The Body Rite Posture Pleaser lives up to its name. I wear it for short periods every day when working at the computer or the sewing machine. It immediately improves my posture and helps me maintain it during activities that would normally take my focus away from my posture until pain started from slouching. Now, there is no pain and my posture is improving, even when I'm not wearing it (good carryover). It was easy to adjust the straps and I have had no pain from the weights. I would recommend it to anyone who is having back pain related to computer or work/craft activities that require long periods of time in less than optimal positions.Customer Review: It actually works!

The posture pleaser is just ok. When i put it on, I immediately noticed a change in my posture, so did others. It definitly pulls your shoulders back, which is what I wanted. But after wearing the brace for couple of hours, the straps under the arms start to rub against your body,which is uncomfortable and it hurts! I purchased another support brace for 1/2 the price and it does a better job. It pulls your shoulders back AND it has cushions for the underarm area.
Like I see, this posture pleaser is just ok.

The Body Rite Posture Pleaser is a great product. I am a seamstress/quilter among other things and backaches have been my steady companion. After adjusting the Body Rite for a couple of days until it felt just right for me, it seems to keep the muscles in balance so there isn't the stress that causes the backaches. I still have some back problems, but the Body Rite has given me a lot of relief.
