Customer Review: Good holder for the money

Pros:
Magnet has the right strength. It holds haviest knives but taking off is easy.
20" is the right size. Knives are well spaced and you have some room for utensils.
Solid build from stainless steel.
Cons:
This bar is pretty slim (20mm), therefore knife handle is a little bit close to wall for big hands. I had to put bamboo coasters as spacers at the bar ends.
20" doesn't fit standard stud interval (16" or 24") and original anchors are cheap junk. Buy metal for drywall.
It has metal-metal contact with knives, so you may scratch your superduper damascus blades.

The 20" stainless steel magnetic knife bar is a wonderful solution for quick and easy knife storage.This handy knife bar keeps cutlery within the chef's reach above a busy prep station but still safely out of reach of little hands. The 20-inch bar is long enough to hold an entire collection of kitchen knives and is ? inch wide and 2 inches thick for supporting wider blades, such as cleavers.
