Our old electric grinder was much less substantial, continually disassembled itself and was a nuisance by comparison.
This grinder is solid, grinds pepper perfectly and has an excellent quality exterior.
Description of MIU Stainless-Steel Battery-Operated Electric Salt Mill
This stainless steel battery powered salt mill integrates beauty and function. A good alternative to manual grinders, which can be hard to twist, you simply push the button to start grinding the salt. A small light illuminates the bottom of the mill so that you can see exactly how much salt is being dispensed. Ideal as a gift for anyone who has a hard time using manual grinders. The salt mill should be used with coarse sea salt only -- do not fill with table salt. Six AAA Alkaline batteries are required, which are not included. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.
