This would be a decent product if it didn't break after so little use. I'll bet I didn't even open 20 bottles of wine before it broke. The company, MIU FRANCE, doesn't even respond to emails. It can't be returned to Amazon since I bought it awhile ago, although I never used it much until recently.
Very disappointing.

I think the title says it all. I had a wine opener just like this one that I loved but the handle was plastic. After years and hundreds of bottles of wine it broke. So, I was so excited when I found this one with a metal handle. But, when I used it for the FIRST time the handle came off the track. There is no way to take the opener apart to reset it. Great product. the base of the corkscrew has a great smooth black finish and for the price you just can't beat it.
