These are basic plastic cutting mats - easy to store & easy to clean.
I had to replace my original flexible cutting boards, and the 4-for-3 deal and other reviewers' comments convinced me to choose this set.
We are quite happy with these cutting boards. They flex just fine for our cooking needs (and flex just like my old mats). We hand wash & store the mats on their sides with our skillets. I'm using 2 now & saving the rest for later (I don't follow the color coordinating food prep program - I just wash the mat I'm using or use the 2nd one if I prep raw food).
They took a little longer to ship from Amazon because they were back-ordered. Priced well, they were worth the wait.

I don't know how I ever got along without these. They provide a sanitary surface to chop or cut up anything. When you're done, the excess can be folded up and put in the garbage or disposal. I absolutely love them to death, no exaggeration! No more dirty wood surfaces or chopping on the counter for me.Customer Review: Innovative cutting boards

I'm an old southern cook and have always used cutting boards of wood. Some handed down from my Mom. I used a plastic that had circles for my pie crust to roll out, and loved it. I saw these and thought they might not stand up to my sharp knives.
I was Wrong! These bargain flexible cutting boards are made of thick quality silicone, and I've been using them everyday. It's so nice to finish chopping, gather the edges, make a loose funnel, and slide them into my bowl or pan on the stove. The size fits in my sink of hot soapy dishwater, and air dries, looking good as new. I bought two sets, and use matching colors for place-mats on my dining table. They wipe clean easily, and are pretty behind my white china. My grand-daughter used the white one with her washable markers and made me a pretty picture, keeping her busy while I made her favorite cake. I can't do any of this with my old boards, and no more disinfecting or seasoning after I use it. Let old dogs learn new tricks, and find out for yourself!

Its ok. I knew what I was getting into, but didn't realizing how easy it is prone to scratches!
Also, I can't put it in the dishwasher. Some of the plastic coating comes loose. Its also slippery on the counter so I have to be careful cutting veggies.
