Description of MIU 2.2-Pound Meat Pounder
MIU France polished stainless steel meat pounder, item # 3600. This heavy weight meat pounder weighs in at just over 2-pounds. It will pound meat, fish or poultry into nice even slices with little effort. This is perfect for preparing chicken parmesan, beef, veal or tuna for Carpaccio. The one piece design is easy to use and clean. The solid stainless steel will withstand many years of usage without fail. The handle is 4-inches tall with a 3.5-inch circular base. Since there are no seams, it will not retain any food particles. This item is dishwasher safe. If washing by hand, do not use an abrasive scrubber as it may scratch the polished finish.This 18/10 stainless-steel meat pounder flattens chicken breasts to a uniform ?-inch thickness for Chicken Parmesan or pounds beef to an almost transparent thinness for carpaccio. The pounder's hefty 2.2-pound weight does most of the work with little effort on the chef's part. This meat pounder has a 3-1/4-inch pounding surface and a 4-inch-tall handle that is comfortable but, considering the pounder's smooth polished mirror finish, could get a little bit slippery.
