Description of LOCKEY M220 Surface Mounted Deadbolt
This lock is most commonly used on aluminum storefront doors and is recommended where there is high employee turnover. Just like the Model 2200, only smaller in size and a few less numbers, the bar of rim deadbolts slides in and out along the inside surface of the door. For extra security, a support attaches at the center of the extended bar. The strike comes in two different types: the mortised strike is sunk into the jamb, and the surface strike is mounted on the jamb. For use on doors 1" -2 3/16" thick.
