This works so well holding a book while you read or need to type something up from it. Holds open all standard paperbacks and even some larger ones. I love having the stand on it so it's just at the right level for me to see while I am doing other things.Customer Review: Great for most paperbacks

As other reviewers have already stated, this book stand is great for particular purposes. I personally use it to take notes while at my computer desk, and it's much--Much--easier typing than trying to fumble around without it. It is also a good size for the limited space on my desktop.
That being said, I know it will be too small for some of my larger paperbacks. By making this product a little larger this problem could have been easily overcome.
I doubt using this on a treadmill or carrying this plastic box around with you is all that convenient, but if you want a relatively inexpensive book stand for most of your needs this is nice item.
