I've used a couple of other types of book lights before purchasing the LightWedge & I definitely think this is the best option out there. For once reading in the dark doesn't feel like a strain on my eyes since it evenly lights up the whole page. And unlike the other lights, this one gives a nice clear white light that illuminates the whole page. One other advantage is that other book lights seem to zap a lot of battery power quickly, with this one I am still enjoying full light strength with many hours of reading. I bought the light to use when traveling, but I'm already enjoying it at home.Customer Review: Best thing since sliced bread...so to speak

Honestly...I just love this book light! It looks cool, it's lightweight and now I can finally read in bed without disrupting my fiance since I have insomnia and reading until the wee hours of the morning is not unusual for me. Yes the plastic scratches easily and leaves fingerprints, but this in no way would give me cause to give it a lower rating. I found the first light to be too bright actually, so the lower setting is perfect for me. Some of the complaints from other reviews are petty...I can be pessimistic at times, but some of the complaints were ridiculous! If you read a lot in bed and if you have bed partners who don't stay up late, if you don't want to disrupt others around you, then this is perfect! I would find this a better solution to using on an airplane than the overhead lights as well. And this light serves as a great bookmark! Nuff said...buy it!Customer Review: Book Light

I bought this Lightwedge for my daughter who is 7. I found out that after I put her to bed, she could not go to sleep right away. She would use a flashlight to do little reading. Well after doing some research this seemed to be the best type of light. It shows right on the page and should be better on the eyes. My only issue is you have to buy to separate sizes. I ordered the paperback size because that is all she is reading but even that size is small because there are different size paperbacks. They should make a retractable light that fits a vary of sizes. But it does do the job!Customer Review: Book Light

The plastic scratches extremely easily. The lights throw stips of light across the page instead of lighting the whole page. It is relatively heavy to hold along with the book. Altogether it was very disappointing. Not too bad in bed when it is really dark and there are pillows to support it.
