I bought one of these for each of my cars, as a supplement to a roadside emergency kit. Because I live in southern California, the likelihood is greater that I'll get stuck somewhere because of an earthquake or car trouble than because of bad weather, so I used this as a basic food and water supply for such an occurrence. I already have first aid kits and other basic survival gear in the cars, so I just added these and extra clothing, and voila: Instant earthquake kit! Remember, it's only enough for one person for three days, so depending on where and how you drive, you might need more than one; if you don't already have a roadside emergency kit (get one!), you might want to get the whole Wings of Life Backpack instead of this supplement.
