Customer Review: Dangerous Plastics

So NONE of this is the seller's fault. We didn't do enough research on what it was made of. After it was ordered and received, we opened the box to see that the manual says the grinding screw is made from melamine. Melamine is a very dangerous plastic. Here's a quote from wikipedia,
"Melamine is described as being "Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Chronic exposure may cause cancer or reproductive damage. Eye, skin and respiratory irritant." [12] U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) scientists explained that when melamine and cyanuric acid are absorbed into the bloodstream, they concentrate and interact in the urine-filled renal microtubules, then crystallize and form large numbers of round, yellow crystals, which in turn block and damage the renal cells that line the tubes, causing the kidneys to malfunction.[13]"
This stuff is VERY TOXIC and I wouldn't want my fresh fruits and vegetables ground up with something made from melamine.
Don't give your money to a company that is selling you something that will poison you.
Do your research people, and VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET!!!
