Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Pure Komachi by Kai 6 1/2 Inch Stainless-Steel Vegetable Santoku KnifeCustomer Review: a VEGAN must have Summary: 5 StarsI'm a real vegan meaning I eat lots of fresh veggies and fruits and this is my all time favorite knife to peel, slice, and dice my veggies. Mines became stained one day while I was peeling some green platanos for mangu so it looks a lil weird now but it still works beautifully. Definitely reccommend.
Customer Review: Great at first, not sure in a few months Summary: 3 StarsBought it on Amazon loved it, edges were sharp and smooth. Had to be careful or could lose a finger (or at least a part of it!).
Things changed within 8-10 months of use (not very heavy use, cook a couple of times a week). Has become increasingly blunt, cannot sharpen it either. This along with its matching meat knife is sitting around waiting for a replacement.
Customer Review: Love this colorful knife Summary: 5 StarsThis knife is the best. It is so very sharp, and the color is pretty cool too.
Customer Review: Great cutting knive Summary: 5 StarsI absolutely enjoy cutting my vegestables with this knive. It cuts through tomatoes and mushrooms without damaging the vegestable. Great knive for the price.
Customer Review: Quality Cutlery At A Decent Price Summary: 5 StarsIf you want or need a name-brand kitchen knife, spend the bucks. My Henkels 9-inch chef's knife can't be beat for its ability to hold an edge. But honestly, you'll find yourself preferring the $20 Komachi line every day for the many mundane chopping, cutting, slicing, carving, etc. tasks you find yourself doing.
Hack that grilled cheese! In color, yet. Kudos Komachi.
