This warped when we got it and I had to get another kind (got a refund for this). We live at 6500 feet elevation and in a very dry climate which is probably why it warped. But even for a lower, wetter place, I thought the wood was cheap and rough.

Really high quality product. I was very impressed in the manner in which it was packed and shipped. It could have gone through hell and still arrived in one piece. It arrived in immaculate condition and it arrived much quicker than I'd expected as well.
As far as what it is - a pizza stone and a wood peel. The materials are high quality, the peel was nice and soft, with no splinters or anything. Very pleased with this purchase. Comes with some decent instructions to boot with a few recipes and recommendations.

Bought this set after many years of homemade pizzas in deep dish pans. Too high in carbs so we thought about a pizza stone for thinner crust pizzas.
This set works GREAT. Heat the stone for 20 minutes while the dough is rising on the peel and you're layering your ingredients. Then slide it onto the stone for 20-25 minutes. GREAT PIZZA, just like a wood-fired pizza cafe!!!
