This stone works great! It's solid and large enough for multiple loaves of bread or a large pizza. I just sprinkle the peel with semolina flour and things slide right off onto the stone. I leave the stone in my oven most of the time and just set casseroles, etc right on top of it. The only time I take it out is when I use the oven's self cleaning cycle and when I bake scones or other pastries (it holds the heat so well, the oven doesn't cool down after browning the pastries. I have a some slight bowing on the peel, but I noticed that our local pizza parlor has the same problem with their peels. Storing it with a heavy dish on top seems to help.Customer Review: Wooden pizza peels

This warped when we got it and I had to get another kind (got a refund for this). We live at 6500 feet elevation and in a very dry climate which is probably why it warped. But even for a lower, wetter place, I thought the wood was cheap and rough.
