The mitt and hot pad feature an innovative material that repels heats up to 500 degrees F while also protecting hands from temperatures well below freezing. The set resists most stains and liquids, performing as admirably wet as when dry. In addition to allowing chefs a longer reach into hot ovens, the extra long mitt design also shields forearms and hands from grease and steam burns while working over a hot stovetop. Though fire exposure may reduce the longevity of the mitt and pad, the tough set will not melt. While both sides of the glove and mitt resist extreme hot and cold articles, using the special crosscut pattern side for gripping ensures the continued beauty of the fine fabric.
