Not worth the money. I've used this on a bunch of different blends from the Roasterie here in Kansas City and I can say with confidence that if you use this K-cup your coffee will be overextracted and bitter. This was definitely not worth $14.Customer Review: $49+ ... WAY overpriced!

Haven't really used it but I noticed the local grocery store carries these for about $8-12. I bought the Kuerig super coffee maker thing for my mommy. Since I have no need for a coffee maker.Just thought I'd post the price.I noticed at Fred Meyers (Kroger) near my home it was either $8.99 or $7.99 on sale. I got the Keurig Elite for my birthday. I love my coffee. I was not an early fan of this coffee maker, but soon fell in love with it as my friends had one. Anyway, the downside for me was I didn't want to buy coffee (K-cups) all the time they are expensive etc. So I got this filter and I would say it was a rating of below one star. It didn't work leaked grounds into the top of my machine, spewed water and grounds into my cup over the top and out the hole in the top of the kcup that the water goes through. Very dissappointed with the performance. Was almost over this whole coffee maker and then I read a post on here about a fix for the leaking cup. The cup doesn't actually leak, it is the seal that sets on top of the cup. When you use a pre made k cup there is a needle that pierces the foil top and pressurizes the cup to force water through. On this needle is a rubber seal. I just worked that seal down a little bit (be careful not to pull it all the way off and the needle is sharp so don't poke yourself). I also ground my coffee a little more course to see if that helped, but I also used some pre ground costco 100% columbian and it brewed no problem. Don't overfill with grounds, there are two hash marks inside the filter. One teaspoon or two teaspoons. if you fill it more than that it won't work as well. Once completed I brewed coffee no problem. Great rich flavor. I am very happy with the performance now that i found this fix. Hope this helps!!!!Customer Review: 4 Stars if modified, 3 stars as is

If you follow the instructions in V. Germano's October 10, 2008 review, you can make an acceptable K-cup out of your own coffee with the My K-Cup. It closes the sides of the My K-cup to allow for more mixing (turbulence) of the coffee, which is essential for extracting full flavor.
Even better, though is My-Kap - Reuse Your Keurig K-Cups (1 Clear, 1 Red, 1 Green), but it requires a little more careful handling as it reuses an actual K-cup and its sealed paper filter inside.
I have and use both. It just depends on whether I'm in a hurry (My K-Cup) or not (My-Kap).
