I just bought an "Elite B40" brewer from Sears.At $100+ dollars, I'd expect better.
First the positive:
It's easy to clean- easy to use - brews a decent cup of coffee (not like a quality drip brewer though) - the controls are easy and there are tons of coffees available at a reasonable price (factoring in the convenience of the k-cups)...
Now the negative:
Due to a poorly designed pump mechanism, the noise this machine makes is truly unbelievable!!! It vibrates the whole counter and everything on it. It sounds like a DeWalt Hammer Drill, or for those potential customers who don't know what a hammer drill sounds like... it sounds like a cheap, handheld air compressor or like the air compressor at a gas station. No exaggeration! This thing will actually dance around the counter for the few seconds it takes to load the water into the heat chamber!
I make my coffee in the morning around 5am. This vibration can literally be felt around the house and it wakes everyone up. I had to move the B40 to the garage so I wouldn't disturb people sleeping! Keurig Engineers obviously live alone or are hard of hearing to have designed such a noisy appliance! It's actually embarrassing to use when company is visiting and I end up using the good'ol (quiet) drip maker! We bought a Black & Decker Home Café pod machine which is similar to the B40, except it is very quiet and much smaller. It uses pods similar to the B40, but the coffee is weaker.
The other draw back is it's size... It's almost as large as my Rotisserie Jr. It's also made entirely out of plastic, for $100+ dollars, I'd expect this thing to have some stainless steel on it!

BEST GIFT ever to myself. We mostly make our own K-cups (with MY KCUP). We purchased a brewer at Sams Club 1 1/2 years ago and love it! When it does get sluggish, just descale it with vinegar (I have had to do this only once and we use our pot every day). Also had to clean the needle once(with a paperclip). We had a Bunn for years before this. The Bunn went in the last Garage Sale! I don't waste my money on the hot cocoa cups. It is no better than the Swiss mix packages you can use in the microwave. If you love great coffee, you will love a Keurig. Make sure you buy one that makes coffee in one minute or one with a resevoir.Customer Review: 1 k cup = 1/2 cup of coffee !!

Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing SystemI really like this coffee maker.I am a die hard DD fan and figured this would save me money.It really doesnt because k cups are hard to find in stores and if you do , there is not a lot of variety.1 k cup only puts out a half of a coffee mug and if you press large cup it comes out too weak.prices range from 9.99 a box and up for 18-20 k cups.I have not tried the tea but I think the k cup cocoa is bad.I just use the hot water to make cocoa.It also uses a lot of water.I also think it uses a lot of electricity as my lights flicker when it going.It makes a lot of noise.Customer Review: 2 In 2 weeks Both dead

I bought the first one and loved it until it stopped working. It seems that the pump won't fill the reservoir so when it heats up it just shuts down. I would guess this happened after 20 cups brewed. I brought it back and went to another store who had it cheaper and the same thing happened after 3 days, about 15 cups of coffee. I called customer service to see what was going on and I was told the I would get a call back ib 24 to 48 hours. So it's going back and I'll look for something better.Customer Review: 2 Months later, Quit Working

I have had my Keurig for 2 months and its quit working already....I loved it while it worked though, but now I have to unplug it, replug it, wait for it to warm up again, then try pushing the brew button, sometimes it takes up to 10 minutes to finally kick in and brew a cup!
