This item does take the pills and fuzz off sweaters better than a sweater shaver. You have to make sure the sweater is on a hard flat surface and it does take a little time if you need to do the entire sweater.Customer Review: If you want black dust on your clothes & fingers...

Unfortunately, this created a lot of black sand like dust everywhere. I cannot image using this on anything light colored or delicate. It also definitely damaged the sweater texture. I am a bit perplexed at how ppl are not bothered by this...Customer Review: Incredible Product!

You will absolutely love this product! It does just exactly what you need it to -- remove the pills from those cashmere sweaters! It is great -- you will not need anything else. I have a collection of cashmere sweaters that were filled with pills and pilings. This stone removed the unsightly pills and the sweaters look great!Customer Review: It Works as Described

I found the Sweater Stone to work well for removing pills from my wool sweaters. I was hesitant to buy one of the shavers after hearing stories about holes in garments.
