This thing should not even be called a reading lamp. It doesn't give off enough light to do anything, let alone read.
The lamp base is weighted with sand and it's not enough to keep it from tipping over on the carpet and it becomes the leaning tower of reading lamps. It's made of very cheap plastic that even my cat can tip over. [..]
Overall, it's pretty much a piece of junk. Certainly not worth the money I paid for it.
