This is the fourth set of these knives that I have purchased as gifts. I love my own set and use these knives almost exclusively in my kitchen. All of my friends comment about how much they like my set so I buy them sets of their own for birthdays, thank you's etc. They are very durable, keep a sharp edge for a long time and are dishwasher safe!

Description of J.A. Henckels Twingrip 4-Piece Colored Paring Knives

Designed with molded, slip-resistant plastic handles ? so the ideal knife for any job is always easy to identify. Set includes a 4.5" serrated spreader, a 3" paring knife, a 4" utility knife and a 2.25" bird's beak paring knife. With Henckels-quality, high-carbon stainless-steel blades. Manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
The brightly colored handles on the four knives in this set strike cheerful notes in the kitchen, while the blades, stamped from high-carbon stainless steel, have all the shapes required for small-knife tasks. There's a 3-inch low-point, straight-edge knife (yellow handle) for cutting fruits and vegetables into thin slices, a 2-1/4-inch curved-blade knife (blue handle) for peeling and shaping, a 4-inch classic paring knife (green handle), and a 4-1/2-inch serrated utility knife (red handle) with a rounded point for slicing tomatoes. Handles are textured for a secure grip even when wet, and the lightweight knives prevent wrist strain when kitchen chores stretch out. These knives are dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack
