I'm buying 2 more sets of these, one as a spare for me and one for a gift. I have a set I bought at least a year ago. I've never found any rust stains. I leave them in the sink in water and put them in the dishwasher too sometimes. I love the fact that they are all one piece and stainless. Bought this set based on reading reviews off Amazon because as a steak lover, it was about time I got knives that don't make cutting through meat a chore. I've had these for a few months now and so far am not disappointed. I use them on a daily basis, run them through the dishwasher sometimes (I usually hand wash my good knives) and so far they are still as shiny as the day I got them.
