The soap in my dispenser was not completely dispensing; the inside of the dishwasher was filmy; there was food sticking to my "clean" dishes. Just out of curiosity, I asked a refrigerator repairman to tell me if he was aware of any preventive maintenance I ahould do to avoid these problems. He recommended Dishwasher Magic. I was skeptical until I read some of the reviews on this site. I was so impressed I decided to buy the 6-pack. It arrived promptly and well-packed. I just ran a cycle and I can't believe how much my dishwasher is gleaming. I'm really excited! I'm so glad to have avoided the hassle and cost of a dishwasher repairman.
