I've had these for over a year and they worked great for awhile, but lately I've noticed a taste of rotten eggs when using them in certain drinks. At first it happened with Sprite, but now I can taste it in coffee as well. Not sure what's causing this, might be the plastic or the liquid within but I stopped using them after this happened more than once.Customer Review: Great item

These ice cubes work great at keeping drinks cool without diluting the flavor. I like that the cubes contain water rather than some sort of chemical. Since it is water inside they do not stay cold very long (I would say the same time or a tad longer than a normal ice cube).
I use them at work for iced tea and sodas, I use half of the cubes at a time and rotate throughout the day as they freeze fairly quickly.

I ordered these to use in a beverage fountain I ordered from elsewhere (sadly that was broken, no time to replace before the party) but I still used them in a pitcher of OJ at the breakfast table. It kept the OJ nicely cold. These would also be perfect in a milk pitcher, or for any drink that you do not want watered down by regular ice. I think it would have been perfect to keep punch cold in a fountain, and will try next time. The cubes are frosty white and several hues of blue. They are slightly rounded and seem very well made. The Amazon seller store was very quick to ship and they arrived well packaged. The container is nice for storage and for popping in the freezer door for chilling. A nice item for a dorm freezer if you have a child going to college. You will need several packs if you are going to use them in everyone's drink at a party or for a cooler. These are so much nicer than regular ice cubes. The container takes up less space in your freezer than an ice cube tray and you don't have to worry if you have enough ice for yourself or guests. I hate when my drink gets low and the all ice sticks together in the bottom of my cup and then comes sliding down and hits me in my face; not a problem with these. They don't stick together and they don't water down your drink. There is no smell or taste to them either. I use them in my water glass all the time. I will never fill an ice cube tray again!
