Customer Review: Everything is plastic today

Although on the website the cover plate for this timer APPEARED to be metal (which is what I desperately wanted), it is sadly, like most everything else today, plastic. Also, the timer clicks quite loudly (louder than the new bathroom ceiling fan I attached the timer to). Other than that, it's hard to rate this product as for its longetivity, and how it will wear over the years. Last, I did notice that there was no ground on the wiring, which seems a bit strange by today's standards.

Fits a standard 2-1/2" deep wall box with commercial wall plate or mounts easily in a panel board. Switch rating: inductive: 20 amp 125 volt AC 50/60 Hz; 10 amp 250 volt AC 50/60 Hz; 10 amp 277 volt AC 50/60 Hz. Tungsten: 7 amp 125 volt AC. Motor: 1 HP 12 5 volt AC 50/60 Hz; 2 HP 250 volt AC 50/60Hz. Switch SPST off type, breaks circuit at end of timing cycle. Brushed aluminum wall plate included.Timers Tools
