I recently purchased a gas range and the burners cook too hot, who knew how hot 15000 blah, blah, blahs was going to be??? There is no internal adjusting ability in which to reduce the flame and things kept burning. The SimmerMat gives me some help now in my heat control and I don't hate my stove nearly as much.Customer Review: It really works!

I found the Simmer Mat heat diffuser to be a life saver. We recently moved and I was having a great deal of difficulty adjusting to a new stove as well as climate. I found none of my usual dishes were the same because I could not control the heat from the stove. The SimmerMat made a world of difference in cooking many of my favorite dishes.Customer Review: Works well
