I bought my air purifier several years ago. It is somewhat noisy as mentioned in other reviews. However, I just run mine at night and when I'm not at home. I know it's working because I have pets and my mother is allergic. I started running it full-time for about 1-2 weeks prior to her visiting, and it cleared the air so well that she had no adverse reaction to the pets for the two days she was there. I would recommend it for the money.
