Kit works perfect for me. After filling the glass up with the ingredients, I just put the shaker over it at an angle. Flip, shake, and the glass comes out easy with no spills during shaking.Customer Review: Good deal--until it breaks!

I bought this "kit," and thought it was just fine--at first. However, unfortunately, it is possible for the glass and metal to form a seal (cold vs. less cold? Some science class I missed?) and in that case, there is no way to get the two pieces apart without running hot water over them, and thereby throwing out the contents. In my case, the glass simply cracked as I tried to separate the halves, and the whole thing ended up in the trash. I went with a different brand, and I HIGHLY recommend paying a few extra dollars for a glass shaker with a rubber gasket over its top. This prevents any of the "accidents" which made mine trash within less than a month...the strainer, however, is just fine, and works well with the new shaker I had to buy.Customer Review: Good value.

This Boston Shaker is amazing for it's price. Everything is very high quality, and the glass is thick to prevent cracking. At first I was worried that it would be low quality because there are much more expensive shakers out there, but I am EXTREMELY happy about this one. It comes with everything you need to begin mixing your favorite drinks!
