Customer Review: Fantastic product! (Except for the breaking part)

I got this some time ago for frequent red-eye trips and it worked like a charm - far, far more comfortable than those stupid headrests. I definitely would've given it 5 stars, except I lent it to a friend (who is fairly careful) and they broke the inflator valve on the first use forcing me to buy another one. Upon inspection, I can see how one unfamiliar with it could break it pretty easily so be careful. But, given proper care and feeding, this headrest really outperforms any comparable product - and I've tried quite a few.Customer Review: Fantastic, much better than those U shaped pillows

9+ hour flight coming up and was looking for something to help with sleeping. I've tried those U shaped pillows and they just don't work for me, so I tried this based on another review. Hubby says I was out within 30 minutes of take off. Completely slept through the drink service. Slept with it on the way home, and was sitting next to a 2 year old. If you are a leaner to sleep...this is your product. Rolls up small too, fits easily in my back pack. I didn't even need to use the strap, it stayed in place and I was out like a light. Highly recommend. Oh-and get the cover, very soft, washable if you need that and totally worth it.Customer Review: Finally! A Great Travel Pillow!

I highly recommend this pillow for flying! The U-shaped pillows do not work for me--not enough support. I try to travel light and between my computer and other carry on needs, a real pillow or non-inflatable pillow is just not an option. The travel rest pillow is easy to roll up and takes up practically no room in my carry on bag. It is easy and quick to inflate and deflate--no hyper-ventilation and I didn't notice any loss of air as my flights progressed! I "wore" the pillow like an arm cast or guitar strap so did not need to bother with attaching the cords to the seat behind me. This was quick and comfortable to do. The fabric that your head or face rests on is soft. My only recommendation is to wear a shirt with a more "regular" neckline because the very edge of the pillow would not be comfortable directly against one's skin. I had the opportunity to use the TravelRest pillow in an aisle, middle and window seat. I was comfortable using the pillow in all three! I actually slept for the first time when flying. Buy it! you'll love it.
This pillow is very comfortable and so different than the old style. It inflates in about three puffs and deflates in about 2 seconds too. You can use it as a pillow as pictured. However, you can also use it as a traditional pillow behind your neck or even on your lower back to fill that pesky negative space that can be so uncomfortable on a long flight.
I love that this deflates and rolls into a very small, neat "roll" to fit easily into my purse or carryon bag. It can even just snap onto the handle of the carryon for easy access!
I've had a dozen or so of those donut pillows and have even given them away at my final destination to someone continuing on, so I wouldn't have to store them!
Trust me on this one. You're will not regret purchasing this item.
It's wonderful and would be useful even to someone who sits a lot at the computer or possibly in a wheelchair. A great design.
In the unlikely event that you should have trouble inflating it the first time; give it a little tug and a twist and you're good to go! This happened to me and I contacted TravelRest and they were able to help with this above tip. They responded within thirty minutes at 10 p.m.!! Talk about customer service!

I bought the TRAVELREST pillow 5 months ago and have used it at least 10 times since purchase. Read a review of the pillow in the Chicago Tribune that was quite favorable. I have never had success with the wrap around neck pillows so I really wanted to try this pillow. I bought 4 pillows (three for friends) for our trip to China. We all loved the pillow and were really able to sleep. I especially like to use it when I have a window seat on a plane. Easy to inflate and I just sling it on over my shoulder. Very huggable, sturdy, provides good support and is easy to pack. I have used it on all of flights taken since China and even used it on a train trip. Great pillow!
