Customer Review: A decent bargain

It's true that you get what you pay for, but sometimes you get a little extra. The Heuck set is very functional and with good care it looks to be quite durable. After using it for a month there are some minor discolorations that are purely cosmetic.
The primary problem is the metal construction of the pots and lid handles. The pot and pan handles will heat up some, occasionally to the point of being too hot to touch. The lids almost always heat up that point, and I have to keep a towel handy to move lids around during cooking.
For the amount of money I paid, the Heuck set is a bargain and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a set of cheap, durable and moderately good-looking cookware. I would invest in something with better design if you have the money to spare and are looking to properly outfit a kitchen.
