Got this for Christmas. Assembly of the cart can be tricky. Holes can be hard to line up for bolts.
Not made for Heavy Duty commercial use.
Popcorn stir bogs down and stops when bowl fills up.
Popcorn bowl comes unpluged when tilting to empty popped popcorn.
The popper is small. Only 4 ounces. Ready to go popcorn kits are made for 8 ounces. You will have split oil and popcorn in half and pop a half at a time.
Overall...great little cooker! Makes a great conversation piece. Makes the Home Theater smell like a REAL movie theater. Best Christmas gift I ever got.

Purchased machine for my brothers family. Easy to set up, use and clean. If you use it as intended( not intended for hours of continuous popping day after day ) and clean out the kettle regularly you should have no problem.Customer Review: Great little popper - recommend

We are VERY particular, gourmet popcorn people. The finest popcorn on Earth can be found at the Karmelkorn Shoppe in Gatlinburg, TN. (Butter-flavored with drawn butter) Using this little popper, we have been able to duplicate that popcorn... ours is now identical to it in every way. Any popper that can do that for us, deserves our highest recommendation. (Of course, you must also buy the finest gourmet popcorn, plus the best butter-flavored coconut oil for popping, and Supur-Kist II butter topping... but hey... it's all worth it!!)Customer Review: Great nostalgic popcorn, great price

My girls wanted a nostalgic popcorn machine "just like the one at their uncle's house" but I didn't want to spend $700+ for one. I did tons of research and finally purchased this one (at a wholesale store for $199) and think it is great. If you want the nostalgic look, but don't want to pay the price, this one is very easy to use and doesn't take up too much space. You can buy "theatre" popcorn kits for the 4 oz. machine online. Made popcorn at the first try and easy to clean. If you have ever used a whirlypop, it is basically the same thing without you having to turn the crank yourself. It is great for my kids, and I don't have to worry about them breaking a $1000 popcorn machine. If you just want something "fun," this is the one to get. Unfortunately, Nostalgic Electrics only makes a 4 oz machine, which means it doesn't pop any more than a good 4 (give or take) servings at a time...this could be the only problem for large families or gatherings, because it means you will have to make a few batches. When our kids grow up (and we can afford it), we'll upgrade to a more expensive 8 oz, but for $199, we are happy.Customer Review: ISSUES ISSUES ISSUES...

I had the machine for 2 weeks just to give it the benefit of the doubt. Then I read the reviews on here and realized several people were experiencing the same problems I was. It is incredibly dinky, practically made of tin foil. The stirring mechanism gets jammed and I had to stop the machine everytime. The entire process takes about 30 mins and I had to stand and make sure THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS that it wouldn't jam up again. I finally returned it and found a similar product of MUCH better quality [and surprisingly A LOT cheaper] at a warehouse club store (NOT SAM'S). I wish I found it earlier so that I did'nt have to go through all the hassle. I do not recommend the Nostalgia Popcorn Trolley, there are much better and cheaper options out there!
