I bought this thing three months ago and I have used it nine time total and have never had a problem with it. The people who have used it and had it fail on them may not have used it properly buy washing it in hot soapy water and then drying it off and also by only using it on medium temp. and then waiting for it to cool down before washing it. It still looks great and makes great sliders. The only thing I thought that could be better is the scooper which is made of plastic and broke on the second ot third time I used it, but I bought a replacement scoop which is one of those two end scoops that I think they use for coffee and now I'm back in business.
