Perhaps my machine was too scaled when I attempted to use this product but it did absolutely nothing to help clean the scale from inside the unit. It also boasts that it is a natural product in the advertising but the box has scary warnings regarding the usage. I was disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: Comes in handy to stock up!

I've been using this product for two years on my Starbucks Barista espresso machine and I think its been doing a good job.
Lately my espresso has been off, so I called Starbucks tech support. While the problem was unrelated, they asked how and how often I descale my machine. I told them Cleancaf and that I do it monthly.
The nice support agent said to stop using CleanCaf and use pulp-free lemon juice instead, or I'd risk voiding my warranty. She also said don't bother descaling but once every 3 months at most.
No more cleancaf for me!

I needed something to get the smell out of our SS thermos mugs that we drink Chai in. Since milk is involved the mugs took on a slightly unpleasant oder. The cleaner usually gets the smell out. You have to use more than directed, so to speak, but it works. Only need to use it once a month.
