Customer Review: I got in time for winter - apt. living so much easier
Summary: 4 Stars

This compact washer is great - especially for a condo / apartment. I got it out of pure laziness..didn't want to have to walk to the laundry mat when the snow hits the ground. Totally worth it! Now here's the down side x 3:

1. some of the manual instructions can be slightly confusing to a
non-mechanic (probably a lost in translation problem since this is a Chinese product).

2. the rear casters are impossible to remove (to put the rear wheels on). I had to hire a plumber to do this.

3. The hoses are definitely too short...but a trip to the hardware store (for extended hoses and some kind of plumbing adapter) worked out that problem. You may also want to pick up a Y-adapter.

But it washes great. Check your apartment amperage! You may not be able to use the microwave or A/C at the same time.

Customer Review: Lightweight & Quiet
Summary: 5 Stars

I have this washer in a small apt. It is very quiet and holds full loads. It stows away conveniently. I am very pleased with the size & performance. Set up was very simple as well.

Customer Review: Love it!!
Summary: 5 Stars

The first washer arrived damaged. I called Target and they were so helpful. UPS picked up the damaged unit with no problem. The new one arrived a couple of days later and thankfully was in perfect condition. We easily put it together. As others have mentioned the directions were kind of vague. But other than that assembly went quickly. It is now up and running. I did two loads of wash in my own apartment last night! It is like a miracle!

I was considering the smaller 8lb. model but I am so glad that I upgraded. The 11lb. model has an agitator, wheels that come with it and are optional to attach, a bleach dispenser and a fabric softener dispenser. It is also super quiet.

I would recommend this to anyone who hates the laundromat and is sick of dragging their clothes out of the house to wash them. I just wish I had know these portable washes existed sooner, I would have bought one a long time ago. It is going to change my life!

If you are thinking about buying one - just do it, you will not regret it.

Customer Review: New Washing Machine
Summary: 4 Stars

Machine was received before date due, and works very well. Sure beats the scrub board and the bath tub method used fot 7 years. Also gets the clothes much cleaner. Now all I need is a 110 electric dryer and I will be set.

Customer Review: Nice washer for small spaces
Summary: 4 Stars

This unit was purchased to replace an 27 year old Panasonic portable washer. (if only Panasonic washers and parts were still offered!) Since I read earlier reviews of this product regarding dents I checked the box carefully upon delivery and found it was double boxed so there should not have been issues with dents in the sheet metal during transport. Wrong.

The issue with dents is that the wash tub is not secured inside the tub housing for transport so when the tub is jostled around or laid on its side it strikes the housing from the inside and dents the housing from the inside out. Double boxing kind of compounded the problem as the outside box covered all the warnings on the factory box on how to transport the unit without denting it. So of course the delivery driver laid it on its side to get it out of the truck.. I'd think a little styrofoam placed between the tub and the housing at the factory would take care of this problem. Not a huge deal, but does affect the aesthetics.

So I did get it set up. Very straight forward except for the water hook up. It calls for a Y fitting, not supplied, to hook the hot and cold water inlets to a single sink outlet. Since temp is controlled at the sink anyway you can just cap the hot inlet at the washer, use the cold inlet only, and only have to mess around with one hose to set it up.

Functionally, the tenant loves it. Much, much quieter than the old Panasonic, lots of options, plenty of capacity for the 2 people in their household. So I have a happy tenant who loves her new washer and her responsive landlord. Yes, I recommend.
