this is a great appliance as far as functionallity very easy very safe has a lot of safety features. the cord is specially made to plug in and un-plug. if it is not put together correctly it will not work. it is fast and there is a very easy clean up! all is dishwasher safe and very very durable. no peeling or cutting. it is wonderful i loved it so much and the benefits of the fresh juice are so great i bought one for a gift, to my parents! DOES IT ALL EFFORTLESSLY. If you are looking for a juicer that does it all FAST and is easy to clean, get the 800JEXL by Breville. Those Aussies know a thing or two about juicing and it shows. I reviewed many Juicers on the market- having owned one years ago I remembered all the things I hated about it- cleanup, small opening, whimpy motor etc. I was looking for a Juicer that would last a long time and addressed all those issues. The reviews posted encouraged me to get this Breville Fountain Elite. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it...easy to use and clean- it's a total piece of "Art"...a TANK...this Juicer is just fun to use. I can't wait to try new recipes...and crank it up. GET it - I promise you won't be dissappointed. I was advised not to get a centrifugal type but this can juice anything!Customer Review: AWESOME! I have juiced for years but usually used other Juicers. Thanks to Amazon and customer reviews this caught my attention. It was a little more than I usually pay but I felt confident based on the recommendations. I LOVE IT!!! Actually a friend got one to. It's SO easy to clean, dishwasher safe, but I usually don't have to dishwasher it because it takes seconds to rinse it off. The juices are amazing!! I love the design of the juicing picture. It catches all the foam and you just get the great juices.
I also highly recommend getting The Big Book of Juices. It makes all the difference in getting great tasting juices. I've actually sent it to several friends after they heard about my juices I was making.
It is powerful and I put it through the ringer when I juice. I don't like to peel and cut things up so I usually put anything that fits down the hatchet and it is awesome!! I highly recommend it! Well worth it

I'm new to juicing but have to say that the Breville 800JEXL makes juicing actually fun. It's very powerful, quiet, and it's beautiful looking. I read many reviews before deciding on this one and have to say I'm really glad I spent the money on it. If I have any problems with it after I've had it for a while I will let you know.
