This product is a complete piece of junk. Blade is as dull as a doornail. I had to use lots of force and a couple of tries to get it to even cut one slice of garlic! Even if it were sharp, it is set to cut fairly thick pieces (about 1/10 inch), which is easy to do with a knife. I've tried other garlic slicers and they were WAY, WAY better than this one. If you are looking for something to easily cut paper-thin slices of garlic, this is NOT it.
