The Da Bird is my cats' favorite toy, but the fur attachment hasn't been as exciting for them as the feather and the sparkler to chase after. It's still nice to be able to provide some variety, but they seem to just watch it and wait for me to put one of the other attachments back on.
The first fur attachment I bought only survived five minutes before I was called away to the phone. My cat Mikesch jumped on the opportunity and ate it while I was distracted. When I returned after the phone call, it was completely gone. Luckily, he was able to pass it and dispose of it in the litter box without needing surgery for a blocked intestinal passage, but I have been very wary of using the fur pieces since then.
