We probably went through 3 or 4 sets of knives before finding this one. The others advertised their sharpness but all couldn't slice a tomato without crushing it. These knives do everything we want and do it well.Customer Review: Fine, but flimsy

I read a review that raved about this knife set against other popular name brands, so maybe my expectations where too high. The knives are razor sharp and work well. I wish they weren't so flimsy thin and light, but I think the very low price reflects this so I really can't complain. Unlike the picture shown, my knife set came in a black block. It is rectangular and has a real contemporary feel which I love! The knives are VERY sharp. It is nice assortment of knives and will address most of you cutting needs. I read prior reviews suggesting that they not be put in the dishwasher. I have only washed mine by hand and have had no problems with the handles. You will not be disappointed with this set.Customer Review: GREAT KNIFE SET

This knife set is really great, it is very sharp and the Santoku is great for cutting vegetables, etc. I had not used one before and find it cuts the work in half, plus you can easily cut really thin if you need to. Very happy with this purchase.Customer Review: GREAT KNIVES FOR THE PRICE!!!!!

This knife set is great for only 30 bucks. I have used the higher priced knives from stores like wal-mart and they do not compaire. The block is very solid and fits the blades perfect.
