First of all, I got the a mask that looked nothing like it did in the picture. It was a different type (a child's mask) that doesn't even fit. So I just wasted $20 on basically nothing

This is probably one of the most common types of gas masks you can ever get. I like it a lot. It does what I want by giving off the cool look I like and is easily breathable in it. The filter was intact and perfectly usable. Mind you these masks ARE AND ALWAYS ASBESTOS FREE! The "Blue Asbestos Filters" scare stories are only for masks pre 1960's. These masks started production in 1970! It uses activated charcoal which isn't as dangerous as asbestos but still dangerous if leaked. It is common sense to check filters for ANY kind of problems before use anyway. The vintage look also makes it worth it and probably better looking then modern masks in my own opinion. Only problems I have with it are minor. The mask is very tight. The eye pieces tend to push into my eyebrow area causing a headache like feeling there unless placed in a certain area. The rubber WILL cause pain to any kind of beard or longish hair you or someone else has if you pull it off fast enough so take caution to how you take it off. Other wise its a perfect mask for collections, conventional uses such as Halloween, but I would take strong care using it in actual NBC situations. Modern gas-masks and filters are better for such situations.Customer Review: Excellent

Good quality, the delivery was fast, and it all came through as well, It looks just like the photo. Works well, just remember to take off the black patch so that the filter can actually work or at least take off the filter if you don't want to use it yet, easy to use as well, it slips on and sticks. 5/5 a cheap buy too, well worth it!Customer Review: Fast turnaround, fits like a glove, very low cost, precautionary measure.

He shipped out the product fast. I really appreciate the quick service since I live in Northern California and I wanted to have every preparation in place, in case we saw clouds of radioactive gas or a spike in radiation come over from Japan. Or if an earthquake here brings it much closer to home. I haven't hooked up the canister, but I tried on the mask. It fits great. Like a rubber glove. I have a large head and the size is medium. I'm sure it would fit a large range of heads. It gets lots of laughs from everyone when I put it on. It's looks really cool. It seems like a very low cost, precautionary measure.Customer Review: Feeling safer near the gulf

Mask arrived quickly. Fits good. I feel safer having it with the oil spill (and the accompanying benzene) near our Texas coast line. I hope I do not have to use it, but is great knowing I have it.
