We purchased this washer & its matching dryer in Oct. 2008 so this review is based on 4 months+ of weekly use. They replaced 25+ yr. old W/D combo. They are installed in a heavily-used (now that we're retired) vacation house with a shallow well. The house is on a mid-Virginia lake which means lots of garden dirt and mud for her and lots of fish mess, lakebed mess, & lakebank mess for me plus lots of swimsuit & towel stuff during Summer. Also, pinesap from many trees. Also gas and oil from all my mantoys. One of my household jobs (stretching back over 34+ years of marriage) is the laundry. Without doubt, this washer does a better job with much less water of cleaning Virginia clay, leafmold, lake mud, petroleum products, etc. from our clothes, towels, sheets, bedcovers, etc., than any other washer installed at either house. I like it so well I'm seriously thinking of replacing the ten-year-old ones at our primary residence.
