Maybe the frother works as a sauce maker.But that's not why I bought it. However, the froth I looked forward to adding to my espresso is not possible. The milk remains liquidy and continues to pour as milk rather than as froth to be spooned on top of the coffee. This machine clearly rates as a "non-buy".
