Customer Review: Amazing performance and quiet

Bought this from a local dealer after my Home Depot portable AC up and quit after only 1 year. Home Depot wouldn't honor the 5 year warranty, and the manufacturer wouldn't answer emails and calls went to a disconnected number.
The AC dealer said this is a solid unit and that if it broke, he would fix it. He's been in business for a long time, so couldn't hurt to try. Fired up in the home office and within an hour, the room was chilly. Worked like a champ ALL summer keeping my office a cool 70 degree, and the adjacent data closet (5 servers, 3 switches, VPN, wireless, about 3000W of heat) at just under 80. Usually it was in the mid to high 80s. This year I will be ducting in the portable within the data closet to keep it cool so I can finally close the door to my office and enjoy some peace and quiet.
Only had to drain water once, and that was during a crazy humid week where it rained for 6 days. Ony added about $25-30 to my monthly, versus the $90 from the Home Depot model. I couldn't recommend this unit enough!
