Customer Review: Works well for a room with vaulted ceilings

I purchased this unit about 2 weeks ago for my son's upstairs bedroom. We were experienceing 100+ degree days, and I was running 4 fans to try an keep his room cool with little success. His room was consistantly at 85 degres (as low as 82 at night).
His room has a 13' vaulted ceiling and is a 15'x14' room, to give you an idea of the size.
As far as installation, it was fairly straightforward. About a 30 minute set up for me. I powered it up that evening, and it took about 2 hours to cool the room to 70 degrees.
Now we use the A/C upstairs with a small floor fan, and it cools very well, as low as 67 degrees! This has been a God send, and am very happy with the product.
5 stars...I just wish it came in a different color to match the decor, but I wouldn't trade this unit because of the great functionality.
