This is by far the best air conditioner I have ever owned, and I have had GE, Fedders and Frigidaire. This unit is in my bedroom wall, and it cools quickly, and even cools the entire first floor of my house. It is pretty quiet on low, and I am a light sleeper. I will say that you should professionally install this if doing in the wall. At first, my installer did not put anything around the insert and it vibrated loudly. Another authorized dealer came to look and put insulation around the insert and it's much quieter. I have had this for 2 years now, and absolutely love it!
