Customer Review: As Good As Advertised -- Cooks Pasta Perfectly

I've been boiling various pasta noodles, at least twice a week, for over 25 years. When I first saw the FASTA PASTA microwave cooker internet demo video, I was a bit skeptical but interested enough to purchase the product from Amazon.com. After using the product three times, I can honestly say that it not only cooks pasta very fast but better, with less mess and energy, than pot boiling the noodles. Just follow the simple instructions and you will have perfectly cooked pasta without having to check it while cooking for readiness. I wish that this product had been invented years ago. My ONLY minor negative comments: 1. FASTA PASTA can only cook up to four pasta servings at one time, which makes its use for a large group impracticle. 2. The water measurement lines are a bit difficult to see when water and pasta is added to the cooker. Adding color to these lines would make them easier to see.

I used this cooker a lot every week. It does exactly what the manufacturer said it would (assuming one follows the directions that come with it.) I have used it for pasta (different sizes and types), noodles, rice and broccoli. It has been a very useful tool in my kitchen. I like the faster microwave cooking time and have never had a problem or accident in using the strainer lid. I thought the item was very reasonably priced.Customer Review: Awesome

OK, I'm impressed. I just used the Fasta Pasta to make a batch of tortellini. I was nervous because cooking a stuffed pasta is probably more challenging than most other pasta. Anyway, I stopped and stirred it a few times and checked it when I thought it was getting close. It came out perfect. It's very handy how the lid allows you to drain the pasta while it is still in the cooker. It may seem like this is a bit expensive for just a plastic box, but I think it is well worth it. Besides the convenience of the built in measuring marks and the strainer lid, the Fasta Pasta is constructed with plastic that is FDA approved for contact with food in the microwave. I wouldn't feel comfortable using just any plastic for cooking food. So add me to the long list of happy consumers.Customer Review: Awesome !!!

I rarely take the time to review purchases but this thing is great. Often times these gadets don't work and end up being a waste of money. but this thing cooks, literally! I luv it. cooks pasta perfectly in the microwave. i never would have believed it. and it dosen't stick together. it's also great that you can cook just what you need without a lot of left over. who knew! try it for yourself.Customer Review: Awesome product

I love the fasta pasta because you just set it up in the microwave & it goes. this is so helpful, because I normally cook veggies to go with spaghetti, so trying to keep the spaghetti from clumping while cutting/cooking vegetables was really getting to be a pain, so I love it! I use it at work and at home.
