The Fiskar Softouch scissors were recommended to me after hand surgery. I found them to be very comfrotable for clipping coupons, cutting fabric, cutting lettuce...just all around easier to manage than regular scissors. I keep them midway in the house so that I can reach them from any part of the house. The handle fits my hand perfectly; the spring opens the scissors after I've cut so that I don't have pain in my hand to perform that motion. The Fiskars Softouch Scissors are thoughtful gifts for family and friends.

Unlike conventional scissor blades. Fiskars' Razor-edged blades are precision-ground and hand buffed to a 30-Degree angle. That steeper blade angle means smooth effortless cutting even through multiple layers of the toughest materials. A must have for sewing and quilting.
