These jars are great for baby food. The lids are much nicer than baby food lids. I haven't had a problem with the jars leaking, ever. Plus I can freeze them, microwave them, refrigerate them, without worrying about leaching plastic additives. The day after my first batch arrived, I ordered the second batch. They're dishwasher safe too, and my 1 1/2 year old son hasn't managed to break one, even though he's a dropper.Customer Review: Recommended !

The Euro Cuisine Yogurt Maker is SO FABULOUS you will want the extra jars. So will your family. When you're running low on yogurt, you can make another batch without "waiting" for all the jars in use to be emptied and washed.
Dishwasher safe means much to my family.

these little jars are about the size of large baby food jars. they are solidly made, and actually rather pretty.They are easy to clean. the lids will leak if you turn them over or tip them. I am new at making my own yogurt. I have found that home made yogurt is much more satisfying for me than store bought - meaning that I eat less. One of these small jars satisfies my appetite. I used to always eat much more of Dannon (my favorite). The yogurt looks more attractive in glass jars that in plastic jars.Customer Review: Strained

These jars are the perfect match to the yogurt maker that I bought at William Sonoma.
The yogurt maker was the same brand different style.
To stop the jars from leaking---strain the yogurt-you get a much creamier blend, rather like the yogurt you get in Greece.

I bought these jars as extras, so I could make a batch of yogurt without having to waiting until all of my other jars were emptied. These little jars are glass but they aren't fragile. If you are making real yogurt, they hold just the correct amount.
