Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Euro Cuisine Set of 8 Glass Jars for Yogurt Maker

Customer Review: All in one piece and timely delivery
Summary: 5 Stars

There's not much to review, since they don't have any moving parts and they aren't much to watch at work, either; but, the jars came to me, all in one piece, and in fairly quick order. The only complaint I have is in the cost of shipping and handling, but that's to each their own!

Customer Review: Best yogourts !
Summary: 5 Stars

Very good products.
The yogourt maker works every day.
The jars arrived on time, as expected. No problem.

Customer Review: Buy some 63mm metal lids
Summary: 4 Stars

Nice jars, lids leak though, which I found out the hard way. Then, looking through my glass jar lid collection I found that a Newman's Own Pasta Sauce lid fit perfectly with no leaking. Then I found a site that showed me that it's a standard type of lid and that I could order them online from Kitchenkrafts.com for $5.25/12 lids. I had to order two sets to cover the the 15 jars I have, or you could eat a lot of pasta. Now everything yogurt related is perfect.

Customer Review: Don't boil
Summary: 3 Stars

I made the mistake of trying to steralize the lids by putting them in boiling water. Good for the jars but not the lids! I now have six jars without lids! Too clean? Wash in hot soapy water and save steralization techniques for the jars!

Customer Review: Don't waste your money on specialized jars
Summary: 1 Stars

You can use ANY glass jar that fits into the euro cuisine yogurt maker.

If you want to buy a jar, use Pyrex Storage 7-Cup Round Dish with Dark Blue Plastic Cover, Clear or Pyrex No Leak Lids 7 Cup Round Baking Dish with Plastic Lid. At least you can use those for other things, plus the lids are better, AND they are easier to clean than the little cups.

If you don't want to spend any money, then just use some small drink glasses, or old honey jars, or spaghetti jars.
Remember, this thing only gets up to 110 degrees max.. any glass container that can stand up to a dishwasher or even a hot summer day will do.
