I bought this scale over a year ago, primarily for use in crafts, but I've recently taken up cooking in a serious way and it has made its way into the kitchen with me. It's absolutely fabulous, whatever I'm using it for. The tare feature, in particular, is wonderful, as is the ability to jump from imperial to metric units at will. I've been delighted since I first opened the box.
I tend to categorize purchases in my head as "sorry I bought it", "not sorry I bought it", and "great buy". This was definitely a "great buy".

I researched scales for a while before making my choice. This model was highly recommended from several friends as well - it will not disappoint. Loooove that it zeros out the bowls and plates and found it very accurate. Its cute, cleans easy, easy to move, and easy to use. I cant ask for anything else. I like the white color with light grey buttons. Accurate and works good. I now own 2 of these scales. My first unit I bought about 5 years ago is truly white, while this new scale is more like an off-white. The display numbers are a little smaller on the newer scale. Most of my food is weighed. You can put an empty bowl on the scale, press the button, and it will go to zero, and then you can add and weigh the food. You can choose to take the bowl off the scale and add the food to the bowl on the kitchen counter - the scale will show the weight of the bowl in the negative - then just put the bowl with food back on the scale to get the weight of the food.Customer Review: Great scale for baking

I've used this scale fairly regularly for nearly a year and half, mostly for baking, and it has served me well and reliably. The price is great compared to other scales out there, and it has weathered not only my use but also the abuse from my 3-year-old who thinks it's a fun toy. It stores away very easily if you don't want to give it permanent counter space, and has an automated shutoff which is great for those of us who are easily distracted.
